The size of the deposit typically depends on whether you choose to purchase excess insurance or not. The deposit can be up to DKK 5,000, but if you purchase excess insurance, the deposit is reduced to DKK 2,500 for passenger cars and DKK 3,000 for vans, moving trucks, and minibuses.
The deposit is only reserved when picking up the rental vehicle.
